A Little Graph or Two

A lot has happened since I last gave a visual of my weight. And by "a lot" I mean that I've lost a bunch of weight. Here is the 2012 - 2013 graph of my loss. As you can tell, it took me 10 months to lose the initial 10 pounds and then I've been on steady decline ever since.

It's been a while since I've posted anything about my weight. So here is my weight-loss for 2012. I'm pretty much where I started at the beginning of the year, with a wild rollercoaster ride between now and then. I'm hoping I start going down again.

Here is this year's attempt at getting below 200 pounds. With the exception of that most recent spike after three weekends of way too much alcohol, I was on a downward trend, even if it was slow. Maybe by the end of the summer I will accomplish my goal.

I didn't quite hit my goal of 5% loss by February 16th (I was 210.5 on 2/14 and 213.0 on 2/18, so extrapolate away!) but today, February 27th, I weighed in at 207.0, so I have no idea what is going on.

Instead of abandoning this current trend/plan I'm going to keep going towards Onederland and see if I can catch up to where I should be. As you can see by the graph below, I'm not too far off with today's low measurement. I hope it's legit and not some outlier on the scale, but with my recent eating and exercise habits, I'm wary about being happy.

Looks like I was losing some real weight there for a while, and then I stopped caring and gained it mostly back. I think I got a bit excited about my weight-loss and thus scaled back on counting calories thinking I'd be ok. Obviously that's not the case. So let the beginning of the year serve as motivation to stick with it!

And here was my last concerted attempt at losing weight, and my mini-goal of losing 5% of my maximum weight of 221 pounds. As you can see, I kind of missed the mark.
